Werkhouse is the production project of Ian Flynn, an Irish, London-based music producer, recording, mix, and mastering engineer known for his refined, artist-focused approach and sonically rich productions. He has worked with a diverse range of acclaimed and emerging artists including Venna, Hozier, Nell Mescal, Yussef Dayes, and Whitelands.
Ian began his career at the legendary Windmill Lane Studios in Dublin, where he trained and worked alongside world-class artists and producers including Sinéad O’Connor and Mike Hedges. This formative period laid the foundation for his technical precision and creative versatility in the studio.
Since relocating to London in 2014, Ian has established himself as a sought-after freelance producer and mix engineer, working across renowned studios including Konk Studios, Strongroom Studios, and Unwound Studios.
His productions and mixes have been featured on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music, and Radio X, as well as in major film releases including Tomb Raider, and have collectively amassed millions of streams across digital platforms.
Driven by a passion for sound and collaboration, Ian continues to work with both established and emerging artists, helping shape distinctive records that resonate.
